We work closely with Stora Hotellet Bryggan and you can both eat and sleep in this historical hotell. http://www.storahotelletbryggan.se/
More information about Fjällbacka can be found at
8km north east of Fjällbacka is Vitlycke, our UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site. Here you will find the most amazing rock carvings. The museum and rock carvings are all free to visit. More over you can take the marked out 6km long walk round the rock carving sites.
Follow in the literary footsteps of Fjällbacka's queen of crime, Camilla Läckberg, and see the crime scenes she describes with your own eyes. Explore this small fishing community during a 45-minute long guided tour – 'The Cosy Crime Walk' - through Camilla Läckberg's Fjällbacka. Just like in the books, you get to experience murder scenes, characters, events – from fiction and reality – mixed with short tales about the Fjällbacka Archipelago, from present times and bygone days – in the heart of Bohuslän!
We meet on the square Ingrid Bergmans torg (by the statue), wearing comfortable shoes and dressed according to the weather conditions. The guided walk follows the narrow and winding paved streets, steep in places, which characterize this picturesque village, wedged between the ocean and the mountain of Vetteberget.
An enjoyable way to end the day is with an 'After-Walk' at Restaurant Bryggan or the tapas bar in the basement of Stora Hotellet. Or why not take a boat trip to the island of Valö, the setting for the book the Angel Maker?
